Position Summary

The position of Yard/ Shop Labourer is responsible for assisting with shop and yard maintenance, assisting with any shipping/receiving of equipment, operating material handling equipment, and general facility labour tasks. 

Please note: This is a full-time position (Monday–Friday) offered on a contractual basis, with the contract expected to conclude at the end of March 2026.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·       Assist with loading and unloading materials with forklifts, or other equipment as trained

·       Maintain Cleanliness and organization of shop and yard areas

·       Assist Shipper to organize MSR orders and load trucks as required

·       Perform simple equipment or tool checks and report any issues for repair

·       Assist with snow removal and general outdoor maintenance

·       Other duties as requested by management

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

·       0 – 5 years industry related experience

·       Experience with machinery and oilfield industry experience is an asset but not required

·       Basic computer knowledge is an asset

·       Strong communication, both verbal and written

·       Ability to work independently at times

·       Self-motivated with a willingness to learn new tasks

·       Detailed-orientated with a focus on safety and organization
