Eagle Well Servicing, a division of Western Energy Services Corp. is hiring a Account Manager to join our growing team!

Western Energy Services Corp. is an oilfield service company which provides contract drilling services through Horizon Drilling in Canada and Stoneham Drilling Corporation in the United States. In addition, Western provides well servicing through Eagle Well Servicing in Canada and provides rental services through Aero Rental Services in Canada and Western Field Services for mechanical support for all lines of business.

Position Summary

The Account Manager role is responsible for acquiring, expanding, and maintaining a particular territory or area of sales accounts.  This role involves increasing company revenue by generating sales from new and existing customers. The Account Manager will identify, qualify, and close accounts and will work with sales channels to raise awareness of company offerings to increase market share and meet fiscal goals.

The Account Manager seeks out decision makers and develops working relationships with them. This position designs and delivers presentations highlighting the products and services of the Company, negotiates contract terms with clients and successfully closes sales. This individual is motivated to exceed predetermined sales quotas set by the supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Understand and achieve sales goals
  • Serve as a single-point-of-contact for key accounts
  • Develop and maintain relationships within assigned accounts; improve client utilization and product/service adoption rates
  • Collaborate with customer contacts, up to and including senior level executives, in order to define needs and provide solutions
  • Identify and target new business sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager to determine necessary strategic sales approaches
  • Work with the Sales Manager to develop sales goals for territory or area; manage all aspects of strategic sales initiatives for the area
  • Ensure that the team’s sales goals and personal goals are achieved
  • Identify and target new business sales opportunities while maintaining existing relationships
  • Assist team members in preparation of proposals and presentations
  • Lead by example in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits
  • Assist team members to resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service
  • Work with internal departments to ensure customer transactions are processed accurately and efficiently
  • Investigate and troubleshoot customer service issues
  • Identify and resolve risks associated with the delivery and/or provision of customer contracts; manage client expectations throughout the contract.
  • Analyze, assess, and document client results to ensure customer needs are being met
  • Promote awareness of new products and services to accounts
  • Comply with standards and procedures of Eagle’s Health & Safety program and Occupational Health & Safety Regulations
  • Other duties as required

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent teamwork and team building skills, coupled with a consistent approach of honesty and integrity
  • Minimum five years of downtown sales experience
  • Experience in closing major enterprise transactions
  • Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills in Word and Outlook
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent negotiation and diplomacy skills, with a high degree of tact and persuasiveness
  • Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills
  • Skilled at assessing client needs, developing proposals, and delivering solutions
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with decision makers, key business partners, and customers
